Never use super glue! We say it again and again. Today we tell you what you CAN use super glue for. When knotting, your thread might break away from the needle as you are stringing your silk through the bead. What to do? Take a piece of paper and spread a bit of super glue on it. Quickly take your silk thread and run the end , where the needle used to be, through the glue. Next, fold a corner of the paper over and glide your wet glue end through the crease. While doing so, make sure you press on the paper tightly against the thread. You are removing excess glue and forming a new 'tip'. Voila, instant needle! - because the super glue is fast hardening.
Go ahead, use super glue ....
..........for this purpose only!
